Condolences
We were very sorry to hear of your mum's passing. Lennis and I spoke often of her during our many lunchtime walks and I know based on these discussions that she will remain in a special place in your hearts.
To Tammy and all the family, we were very sorry to hear about her passing. Sending you our thoughts and prayers.
So sorry to hear of your loss. Our prayers are with you at this time. We have so many great memories of your mom- whether work related or personal. She was always so positive and willing to help. She so readily shared her musical talents in helping me with my class especially when preparing for those music festivals, leading me in the choir at church and playing for our wedding. Not only was she a coworker but a very special friend.
My condolences to the Poupore family, it was my pleasure getting to know her in her later years. I will most certainly miss that beautiful smile every morning.
Our sincere condolences to all and will keep you in our hearts and prayers! She was an awesome person and her music just as well.....so sorry but I think she is in a happier place and will do her entertainment for everyone up there!!!!
Clarence and Carmaine
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. I have so many great memories of singing around the piano with Aunt Doriel with her fingers smoothly flowing over the keys. Even if she didn't know the song, we'd get..sing me the song and then I'll play it!. Fond memories of summers spent at Aunt Doriel and Uncle Don's house. How many times was the kitchen table filled with pastry she'd be rolling out for not one but at least half a dozen delicious pies. Uncle Don and Aunt Doriel always came for visit to Dad and Mom's when they heard the "kids" were coming home for a visit. I loved those visits!
May all your memories and shared memories of family and friends bring you peace.
Lennis, Tracey, and the whole Poupore family, our deepest sympathies on your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and hope that the wonderful memories of your mom/grandmother offer some comfort in these times of grief.
with love,
Tracey, Claude, Grace, Sophia, Jack
Our deepest condolences to the family and relatives of Doriel. I knew her many years ago when I lived near Thornloe. She was a wonderful lady. Blessings to all.
To Doriel's family -
A great lover of music that she shared with so many. Whether it be church, school or festival music, adults, kids or talented folks, she was able to share her joy of music to all and make everyone better.
She will be missed, but there is music where ever she goes.
Janice, Lennis, Tammy & Families
I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Doriel. Our thoughts & prayers are with you at this time.

Janice, Lennis, Tammy and family, Denise and I are saddened to hear of Doriel's passing. She was a very special lady and will be missed. She was my music teacher for all my years at Kerns Public and with her guidance, we/the school won many a red ribbon at the Kiwanas Music Festival. One song that I have never forgotten is "How Do You Like To Go Up In A Swing". In fact I hummed it last night as I went to sleep. May she rest in peace.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I have many wonderful memories of time spent with Doriel.
My condolences to her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Rest In Peace my dear cousin
My Condolences to the family. I would like to share that I enjoyed having Mrs. Poupore as the school secrectary at Kerns growing up in the 80's. Our house had burned down the night before I was to start school. When I did get back to school, Mrs. Poupore was very kind and welcoming. Anytime anyone had a problem, she was there with an open heart and listening ears. She always knew how to help solve problems. I don't think anyone would argue that she was the glue that kept everyone together and everything running smoothly.
When she played piano, and helped out with Christmas plays, we could feel her happiness and see her passion in her eyes!!
I will forever remember her gentle, kind sole who helped many students stay positive and be respectful!!
Rest in peace, Mrs. Poupore, you certainly made a difference!
I’m so sad to hear this. Mrs. Poupore was so wonderful to me. She saved me in an embarrassing situation in public school and then later when I had a car accident near her home, helped me then also. I frequently think of her.
My condolences to all of her family members and close friends. She was a very special person who will be greatly missed.
Janice, Lennis & Tammy,
Connie and I send our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to your family. Aunt Doriel was a very special lady and will be missed by all. I will never forget the love and care that she showered onto our entire family, throughout our lives. May God comfort you through this difficult time.

When I think of Aunt Doriel, I think of how she loved family - immediate and extended. On every visit home to Mom and Dad's, she made a point to pursue a visit with us. Our Deepest Sympathy to the Poupore and Schubert families in the loss of such a pillar of the community. Doriel's musical abilities will forever be remembered .She now takes the piano/organ bench to play in heaven as she has done her work here on earth.
Rest in Peace
To the Poupore Families: I am so relieved to learn that your loved one has graduated to her Heavenly home and is no longer locked in her earthly body. She has suffered for too long ; all these years she did not deserve to live inside her earthly body; not being able to have any quality to her life - just a tragedy. She is now playing for the heavenly choir and Don is singing with her. I so loved Doriol; she contributed so much to our musical community and St. Paul's United Church, to our Music Festival - I wonder how many participants she accompanied; her contribution to music cannot be measured. Our pot luck suppers with all the music teachers was always a highlight and Doriol's delicious baking was so good. She hosted our suppers too and we always enjoyed going out to the country and enjoying the quiet that it offered. To each of you, may God bless you and my your memories continue to sustain you in your grieving.
