Condolences
Larry and Linda. I did not know your brother Roney, but I know he was not just a brother but a great friend to you both. We are so sorry for your loss. You are in our prayers always.
Perry and Maureen.
So sorry to hear of Ron’s passage.
Thinking of you Linda and Larry. That will be major loss for you both, as Ron was a big part of your life.
Ron was a quiet, gentle man, and always there to support the extended family during difficult times. He will be missed.

I last visited "Red" at the lodge this past summer....Donna and I have enjoyed getting together with Ron and Linda on our trips North over the years. On my last visit we had a long talk about the events of the day including politics of both Canada and USA. Remembering the fierce opposite sides of the same coin will always be cherished. One other thought comes to mind was when we were boys, my Dad (Earl) always took great delight in pitting me against Ron and Tom in boxing matches....If you remember those days, then you will know who always came out on top...and who didn't.....Always remember you Red......
Thoughts of childhood events shared with Ron bring many memories to the forefront. The many many hours fishing at the Boom and along the white river and down at the old mission; those looooooooooooong drives in dads delivery van down to the Ex in Toronto for one days treat. His 16th birthday party arranged by Grandma and Jean.
In the past Ron shared his home with Joe and I while we visited with mom and then following the fire and moms death coming up to care for business. We sure appreciate his generosity and I did make sure I left the place the way I found it - he was such a meticulous man. Ron enjoyed the many discussions on politics and religion along with an avid interest in reading. He was an ok partner in Euchre also and who knows. maybe there is one going on now. During the last year when Bon and Mom passed Ron showed concern there may not be anyone left to see him on his way; he is in heaven now and at peace watching all of us in our daily lives. Family, be at peace - eventually the hurt passes (I hope). Ron was able to share information with me when I was writing my "book". It really helps to remember the good times and sure, even some of the more unpleasant ones (if any). We realize we are here as guests of God and Ron lived his life accordingly. He embraced family life and was true to his beliefs.
Integrity is choosing your thoughts and actions based on Value instead of personal gain- such a novel concept in today’s day and age
We lost one of these human beings today.
I often reflect on memories from my story with Uncle Ron and what always becomes the message in the memory is his integrity, hard work, his pure love and honour of family and his beloved pets, and the appreciation of the little things that showed each other love. Your impact in our lives will live on- through our stories with you.
Love always
Krista
Dear Toner Family,
Our dear Roney has returned to the Father and so close to Christmas. I'm sure our Blessed Mother was standing at the door with open arms waiting to say welcome and introduce him to Jesus, the one we all long to meet face to face. Roney is the same age as me, 79 years, a beautiful age after having lived a full life given to others without thinking much of himself.
Roney's journey filled with many joys, sorrows and pain has come to an end on this earth. His life in the Light has just begun. He is indeed where there are no more tears, just joy and peace, truth, light, life, love and happiness. Let's rejoice for his soul rests in peace! To all of us who loved Roney, may I suggest we take a moment and stand very still in the heart of our personal grief and feel his presence. Whisper him secrets of love and wait for that special moment of calm and serenity that will overwhelm our sorrow. In time our grief will take us to places unknown so lets go forward and trust in God's unconditional love and compassion. From this experience, love, hope, courage and strength will abound and bring peace to our hearts.
