Obituary of Margaret Boyce

In loving memory of Margaret Jane (Bea) Boyce (nee Broderick) of Englehart who passed away peacefully at the Englehart & District Hospital on Friday, June 28, 2019, at the age of 93 years, after silently saying goodbye to her family by her side.

Margaret was born in Cobalt, Ontario to Royal and Gladys Broderick on September 11, 1925. She spent most of her life in Northern Ontario. She had an unparalleled zest for life, and brought smiles to the faces of those around her until her final days with her quick wit and that mischievous twinkle in her eye.

She is survived by her sons John and Jim, daughter Laurie, siblings Mae Brazier, Ken Broderick (Sally), Bob Broderick, sister-in-law Joan Broderick and also her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.

Margaret is pre-deceased by her husband Harvey Boyce, children Cathy and Wayne, parents Royal and Gladys Broderick (nee Beach), brothers David, Jim and Ronnie, sister Emmy and her husband Paul Arch, sister Annie and her husband Raymond Peddie, sisters Glenny Nielsen and Doris Clegg, brother-in-law Tom Brazier, and sister-in-law Marjorie Ambeau.

As per Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no service. If desired, memorial donations in Margaret’s name can be made to your local animal shelter.
