PS. From my early minor hockey days with the Pedersen Peewees right thru to the Rexwood Rebel juveniles; I only wanted my skates sharpened by your dad; he always made me feel welcome when I came to the counter and was willing to chat about the teams; he just seemed to know how to get my skates perfect, no one else could ever measure up; not sure I ever told him that...I wish I had.
Mike

To the Christo family, my sincerest condolences on the passing of Gord. As a young lad growing up in NL and playing hockey and ball, he was a regular at the rink and ballparks. Always enjoyed chatting with him as he was very wise in regards to life around sport. I hope the family finds strength in each other at this time and recognizes the respect that Gord had from me and others of my generation. RIP
