Obituary of Doris Adema

In loving memory of Mrs. Doris Adema (nee Carleton) who passed away at the Temiskaming Lodge on Sunday March 3, 2019 at the age of 84.

Doris will be greatly missed by her children Kendra Adema of Peterborough, James Adema (Susan)of North Cobalt and Marie Adema (Brad) of New Liskeard as well as grandson Liam Flannigan.

She was predeceased by her husband Gerrit Adema in 2012.

Doris will be remembered for her many years as a caregiver at the Haileybury and New Liskeard Hospitals as well as her housekeeping skills for numerous private clients.  She attended the Salvation Army and worked in the Thrift Shop. Doris loved life and her family and her friends. She cherished the many animal friends she took in over the years and enjoyed their company.  

A Celebration of Life will be held in May – details to follow.
