Bonnie Lynn Nichol

Obituary of Bonnie Lynn Nichol

Nichol, Bonnie Lynn, passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2018 at the age of 46. Cherished daughter of Danny & Ann Nichol. Proud mother of Kennedy Ann Nichol. Big sister to Amy (Tim) Westover. Proud aunt of Georgia, William, and Simon Westover. Predeceased by her grandparents Eldred & Dollie Conlin and Arnold & Beulah Nichol as well as Maureen Hammond Nichol, and by her great grannie Ann, all who adored that feisty little blondie. Sadly missed by aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends among the Nichol, Conlin and Soper families; including Tom Soper, Kennedy’s father and Tom & Kit Soper, Kennedy’s paternal grandparents. Born in New Liskeard, ON January 12, 1972, Bonnie was proud to have graduated from the Haileybury School of Mines (Northern College) to train for work in Operations at Bruce Power. Health concerns cut her work life short but she continued to sparkle in the community with her music, volunteerism and random acts of kindness. Bonnie was a fierce warrior on behalf of her daughter and community causes and brought focused energy to everything she tackled. Watching from heaven, probably playing cards with Grampa E.J. or fishing for walleye, she will follow as her Baboo carries her legacy forward. Visitation at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Thursday September 27, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate the life of Bonnie Nichol will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday at 2 p.m. A time of refreshment & fellowship will follow at the Southampton Curling Club. As an expression of remembrance, the family would appreciate donations be directed to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation, or the charity of your choice, or just pay it forward with a random act of kindness. Condolences may be forwarded to the family through www.eaglesonfuneralhome.com
