Dear Dorothy, We are so sorry to hear this sad news. We extend our sincere sympathy to you and your family.
Our deepest condolences go out to the Dodds families. George was a wonderful man. He certainly kept us in stitches with his quick whit and one liners while we visited my mom Raymonde Desjardins at the Northdale Manor. He was the life of the party. A kind and gentle man who was always ready to help. May you find solace remembering how kind and gentle he was. He will be missed by many. Rest in Peace Mr. Dodds.

Dear Dorothy & Family
George will be missed by our family, a friend, a humourist and an inspiration. He was always generous, determined and eager to "get going". He was a volunteer "cum laude". Know that we are thinking and sending you our thoughts and prayers each day.

Dorothy, Dana, Loraine & family, Rosalind, Mindy:
Our sincere condolences, we will all miss George. We always enjoyed our visits and experiences together; lots of fun, stories and laughs. Loved seeing him in the pipe band at all the parades, and refereeing the Cubs games with Porky and others. He really knew the game!
He always had something funny to say. Like Dustin said online, he always loved Mom’s chelsea buns which she made for his birthdays.
We were proud to call him Brother and Uncle.

To the Dodds family,
I was saddened to hear of George's passing. He was great man which I had the privilege to get to know on the golf course where he was a tireless volunteer. I will remember him fondly for his wit that often kept me on my toes. Rest in peace, George.

Our condolences to the Dodds family. I was very fortunate to have known George growing up in New Liskeard. He always had a great presence within the hockey association. He will be missed. One thing I will always remember is that when George was present, I was the second best looking George( just a little joke between George and I).
Rest in peace George!

Dear Dorothy, Dana, Lorraine, Rosalind, Mindy and families;
It doesn't matter the age that someone passes away, it is still a very difficult time for the remaining family members.
We sure enjoyed our visits and talks at the Cub games with George. We saw him from time to time in later years and always had a good chat. George obviously had a great love for this community and the people. Thank you for sharing the gifts he gave to this area.
May the many cherished memories you have help you through this great sadness.
Our sincere condolences.
Patti & Hugh
My sincerest condolences to all the Dodds family at the passing of George. I knew him from my minor hockey and always considered him the most helpful coach I ever had as a defenseman. Always gave little tips that were incredibly useful! I also knew George from around the ball parks when I was growing up playing in the Wabi Valley League. He will be missed by many. Thanks for his service to the community and to young players, like myself on his earth walk. RIP George
Mrs Dodds, Dana, Rosalind and Mindy,
We were saddened to hear of George’s passing. Our families spent many hours together whether it was at a hockey game, a figure skating carnival or just a visit at the house. Danny enjoyed working with George at DF Elliott and he was well respected. I am so glad we were able to have a visit the last time we were home!!
George will always be remembered with fondness and a smile. Please accept our heartfelt condolences!! Love Danny and Sue
Rosalind - so sorry to hear of your father's passing. Condolences to you and the whole family - Love Nancy & Jacques Béland.
Dear Dorothy, Dana, Rosalynn, Mindy and families...I was so saddened to hear about George. George was a well-loved and kind man who we are very fortunate to have known. Even in hard times, he always could crack a joke. I know that all your cherished memories will get you through the tough days ahead. Please accept our heartfelt condolences and take care of yourselves. Hugs, Carol(Kidd) & Darren Hearn and family
So sorry for your loss Dana! Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and Lorraine!
To the Family.
We are so very sorry to hear of George's passing. My Dad, Wilf Bailey & George were friends before the Lodge & then both in the Lodge. We always enjoyed our little chats. He sure loved being outdoors. Last Fri Sept 7th he was enjoying the sun & I commented on his dark tan & how good & healthy he looked so his passing comes as a shock. Nice man - he will be missed. Rest in peace George. Carol & Jeff Lonsdale
George was a great friend to many and unwavering stalwart volunteer. He was always, to my knowledge, in a good mood and was always ready for a bad joke. Either as the teller or the listener! I am so sorry for the loss of this self-effacing man and grateful to call him friend. He was indeed a good man. Sincere condolences to the family. Bruce Helbig
My condolences to George’s family and close friends. All the kind and good words about George are very true as he did donate his time travellelling down so many different avenues in our City, but was still there as a great family man. George called a spade a spade which made him that much more of a good person. It was a honour to have known him and even with his illness he still liked a laugh and what a smile. Rest In Peace.
