Obituary of Francois Léveillé

In loving memory of Mr. Francois Léveillé, who passed away at the Temiskaming Hospital on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the age of 78.

Francois will be missed by his beloved wife Lucille (nee Robert), his children Yves, Mario (Caroline Plante) and Annie (Don Lajoie),  his grandchildren Benoit, Dominique, Cassandra, ans Abby Léveillé and Zackery and Francis Lajoie, 7 brothers Damien (Marie Lavigne), Raymond (Suzanne Boileau), Denis (Ginette Leblanc), Alphonse (Denise Baril), Bernard, Léonard (Patti Smith) and Daniel (Francine Ménard), 6 sisters Blanche (Louis Smith), Juliette (Philippe Gauthier), Nicole (Pat Smith), Claudette (Gary McDonald), Lilianne  Brazeau and Claire (Michel Ferland), many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Ludovic and Alice (nee Boileau), his step mother Lucille (nee Larocque), his sister Laurette Lavictoire (Georges), his in-laws Hervé and Gilberte (nee Guimond) Robert, his brother-in-law Georges Brazeau and Florent Côté, sister-in-law Ghislaine Boileau, and nephews Richard Gauthier, Martin Lavictoire and Maxime Morin.

François was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.  A great role model, he loved his grandchildren so much.  He was a hard worker. Married 54 years ago, he worked in mining, bought the family farm, proudly started a welding and mechanical business with three of his brothers.  He truly was a Jack of all trades. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, travelling, playing golf and playing cards.  What he loved the most was spending time with family and friends. He had a huge caring heart and always helped others. Till the end he was an inspiration. Being the oldest of 15, he will be greatly missed by everyone.

Francois' family will receive friends and family at the Perrin Funeral Chapel on Monday from 2 until 4 pm and from 7 until 9 pm. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 11 am from the Sacred Heart Church. Fr. Georges Hakiza officiating.
