Dear Sue, Robert and family
Such an awesome lady, she will be greatly missed. I will always remember Wilda in her white shoes and dress at the Red and White, even though she was always busy she always made time to take Sue and I down to the lake to get the French Fires in the little paper cone....with lots of vinegar, (I can still smell them, best summer memory)
Dear Sue ,Robert and all the Gibson Family:My deepest sympathies to you all ..If there was anyone in our lifetime that cared so deeply about family, friends, community and would give to those that needed a greeting with a special smile,it was Wilda....She was number one to many .
Sue , John .Robert and all the grandchildren. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.We became neighbours years ago when they still had the store. She was a very caring lady, aways talking about her family and also her passion for knitting and sewing.
Our deepest sympathies to the Gibson Family
Mrs. Gibson was such a kind, caring person .
The Temiskaming Shores Lioness Lions Club were honored to have her amongst our dedicated knitters who donated to our many causes
May she continue her passion for caring where ever she is.

Sue, I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was such a vibrant lady and member of the community. I loved talking with her when we both went to The Match Factory for knitting Tuesday afternoons when I was still in town. What a wonderful life she had and how lucky you were to keep her for so many years. I am sure all of your friends will have lovely memories of her to share with you. Sheila
So sorry to hear of Wilds's passing. She was one of the most intelligent, joyous ladies I've ever known. Always a smile for everyone.
Dear Sue, John and family,
I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was an incredible woman, and a great friend to my parents, Albert and Eileen. I have fond memories of spending time at the Red and White visiting my dad. Ott and Willda always made us feel important, even though I'm sure we were in the way!
Wilda was one of the strongest, hard-working, intelligent and warm women I have ever known. She has left a mark on many people, and on Temiskaming District.
I'm thankful to have grown up with her as an example.
Anne (Peckover) Williams

We are saddened to hear about your recent loss.
To the Gibson Family: I want to extend my sincere sympathy to you on the passing of your loved one. Years ago I would shop with my grandmother, Janet , at the Red & White store and always stop and talk to Wilda. Then when I lived in New Liskeard, Red & White was my grocery store and always Wilda would have time to have a chat. She was a stalwart in our community and she has left a legacy of community service. May she rest in peace.
So sorry to hear this sad news. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
