Obituary of Eileen Desrosiers

In loving memory of Mrs. Eileen Desrosiers (nee Jelly) who passed away at the Northdale Manor on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the age of 92.

Eileen was predeceased by her parents Henry Jelly and Ethel Jelly (nee Clark) and her beloved husband "Fred" Alfred Desrosiers whom she married on November 6, 1948.

She is survived by her loving children Dennis (Wendy), Bryan (Pat), Nancy (Karl Pedersen), and Dixie (Rick Williams), her dear grandchildren Trevor, Trisha, Shawna, Marissa, Rob, Tessa, Joey, Ricki, Callie and John, her great grandchildren Hannah, Ethan, Liam, Callum, Ella, Tyler, Ryan, Odette, Adeline and Nathan, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Eileen spent many happy hours gardening, playing bingo and bowling, and taking trips to Casino Rama and trips with the Northdale Manor. She was especially fond of animals. She was a long time member of the Branch 54 Legion Ladies Auxillary and spent many hours volunteering for the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Kidney Foundation.

Eileen's family will receive friends and family at the Perrin Funeral Chapel on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 2 until 4 pm and from 7 until 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 11 am from St. Paul's United Church. Dr. Rev. Judith Visser officiating.
