Obituary of Fern Irwin

In loving memory of Mrs. Fern Irwin, who passed away quite suddenly at the Temiskaming Hospital on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the age of 88.

Fern was predeceased by her parents, her 3 sisters Vivian Jordan, Helen Jordan and Norma Pinkerton and her 2 brothers Jay Jordan and Arnold Jordan.  She will be missed by her children Allan Irwin and Linda and her husband Dave Cruickshank, her grandchildren Ashley and Daniel Cruickshank and Allan Irwin jr., her sister Audrey MacDonell, her sister in law Gloria Jordan and several nieces and nephews.

Fern had a very busy life filled with quilting, knitting, baking, gardening and computer games.  She also spent many hours volunteering at St. Paul’s United Church and previously with the Temiskaming Hospital Auxiliary.

The family of the late Fern Irwin will receive friends at the Perrin Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 1 pm until time for the memorial service at 2 pm. Rev. Judith Visser officiating.
