Dear Mrs.Spencer (Fae), Doug,Janet and Spencer Family
We were so sorry to learn today of Alf’s recent passing. What an amasing man and life he lived. It was so wonderful to get to know he and Fae through our parent’s friendship in our favourite place of Twin Lakes. There were so many happy memories of card and golf games and the many fun social events that were shared with our parents when they summered at Twin. Alf was a fun guy to be around and always a true gentleman. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Dear Mrs Spencer:
I would also like to extend my sympathy to you and your family on the passing of Mr. Spencer. My brothers and I have very fond memories of Alf from a life time of family friendship and years of church and lake activities. We very much appreciate the sincere and caring warmth and friendliness he always gave to each of us. He was a truly lovely man and we are very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family.
My sincerest condolences to the Spencer family.
We were very sorry to about your father's passing. I have fond memories of ushering with him at St.Pauls when I was a teenager. He always made it fun. It was always great to see him from to time when we would visit New Liskeard. Our thoughts are with you
Dear Fae;

Thinking of all the family. Sue & Blain
To Fae and the family,
It is with great sadness that I learned yesterday of Mr Spencer,s passing.
Just last week while in New Liskeard my mom was showing me the newspaper picture of your 75th wedding
I will always be greatfull for the kindness and understanding that Alf and you Fae have shown me, a young and timid and insecure girl starting her first job. Mr. Spencer will always remain my first boss. I can without any doubt attribute a great deal of my success in my own business to what I learned while working at Spencer’s.
I have and will always retain fond memories of my years working for Spenser Jewellers.
One memory, that has stayed with me to this day is how happy and excited Alf would get when getting ready for his hunting trip with the boys. It seemed to me that he was days planning this annual adventure, and on his return all the laughs and fun shared with his friends....but I don’t remember him bringing back any moose or deer. I guess to him that wasn’t the most important part of this .
I am sure this is a difficult time for all of you. Losing a loved one isn’t easy at any age.
My sincere condolences, my thoughts are with you all.

Dear Fae and Family, our deepest sympathy to All on the loss of such an incredible man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and may all the wonderful memories you have carry you all through the days ahead. Wish we could be there.
We have had the pleasure of knowing John and Patrica Spencer. We have always enjoyed the respectful descriptions of Alf - in particular due to my father also having been a WWII vet (and POW); and also due to a special link that I had with New Liskeard as a young man. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Dear Spencer Family,
We are so sorry to hear about Alf. He was a sweet and kind man, always quick with a smile and a warm hello. I have fond memories from visit to the store, at Rod & Elinor's August party and Jim has many fond memories of the trips they used to take delivering vehicles for Armstrong Motors to the MNR. He was always good at comeback lines for any of my smart remarks & teasing. It will be missed by all that knew and loved him. But, will live forever in everyone's heart and memories.
Take Care,
Jim & Patti
