Roger came to Canada from Ireland in 1947.  He worked as a lumberjack in Temagami before moving to Latchford. He met Joan Garreau in 1949 and they were married on July 13th, 1953.
Roger eventually started Carmody Haulage where he was happy digging with his backhoe and making roads with his CAT. He also did highway maintenance for the MTO for 11 years.
Anyone who knew Roger will remember him for his "ditties", jokes, singing of Irish songs or his love for the occasional Guinness.

A celebration of life and luncheon will be held at the Latchford Legion on Saturday, November  18th, 2017 from 11am-2pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Roger's name to the Latchford Royal Canadian Legion.
