Obituary of Alec Ethier

Alec Andrew Ethier Alec Andrew Ethier, infant son of Daniel Ethier, April Denis and brother to Eric Denis of New Liskeard, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2010, at the Toronto Sick Kids Hospital at six weeks of age. He is survived by his great-great-grandparents Julia Pearce of Sprucedale, Ontario, Laura and Labelle Lauzon of Kirkland Lake; his great-grandparents Marie Denis of North Cobalt, Florance Labreche of Huron Park, Ontario, Ted and Deanna Pearce of Kirkland Lake, Henri and Lucille Ethier of Haileybury; his grandparents Serge and Jocelyne Denis of Coleman Township, Claude and Karen Ethier of Cochrane, Alberta; aunts and uncles Michelle Denis of Timmins, Nathalie Denis and Daniel Laferriere of Haileybury, Natasha Ethier of Cochrane, Alberta, Andrew Ethier and Alli Bunnell of Bracebridge, Ontario. Alec was special and very precious. We loved him very deeply and unconditionally. We will always be grateful for having the privilege of spending such a short matter of time with him. We cherished every single moment. He will forever be missed, but we will keep his memory alive in all of our hearts. Alec was our little angel and he will always be known as the "toughest little boy around." He was a fighter throughout. We miss you and love you enormously, Alec. Stay strong and we'll all meet up with you again someday. The wake will be held at 7 p.m. on February 17 at the Perrin Funeral Chapel in New Liskeard. The funeral will be held at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church on February 18 at 11 a.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully appreciated by the family. Cremation will be held at a later date.
