It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Louise at Extendicare nursing home in Kirkland Lake. On the evening of July 1st she quietly slipped away after being hospitalized since Nov 2019 with a complete left side stroke. She loved moose hunting and partridge hunting and done so till her early 80's when her eyesight began failing. She also loved camping, her flower gardens, watching different birds at her feeders and having family visit her. Loved her trip to Alberta to visit her sons Leon and Jerry and families also her grandson George and his wife Candy. She enjoyed the camping, 4 wheeling and hunting trip that all of us took her on there. She had planned on “going out once more”. She use to help her late husband Victor Alberta with trapping and guiding for many years. She continued to guide even after she lost her husband till her mid 70's. Their American friends continued to visit her every fall. She done flagging jobs and then drove school bus for several years.
