Condolences
Our team was saddened by the loss of Harold. Our team had the pleasure of working with Harold on many occasions and because of his humour, history lessons and outlook on life we considered him a mentor and friend. RIP Harold.

Dear Marlene and Family.
Rose and I just heard this week of Harolds passing. We send our sincere condolences to you, Marlene, and all your family for the loss of Harold. I have known Harold since the early 70's, and although we did not cross paths that much over the years, he was always a very kind, personable, and outgoing person, I enjoyed our conversations, and remeniiscing, whenever we did meet up.
We are very sorry to hear he is gone.

So sad to hear this week of Harold's passing. He was a wonderful man who was always happy and looked for the good and opportunities whenever I worked with him at the airport. Please know that you are in my thoughts.
I am an old friend and colleague of Harold from the days we worked together in Montreal (Olympic Helicopters). He was always full of life. And with his beautiful wife Marlene, they were a dynamic duo... I have so many fond memories of him. Always full of wit and good humor. I could almost hear Harold say. "Old helicopter mechanics never die.... We just smell that way"....Rest-in-Peace old friend.
It is with deep sorrow that I struggle to find the words to express my sense of shock with Harold’s passing.
I first met Harold in 1978 when we both worked for Olympic Helicopters just outside Montreal where Harold was part of the maintenance team for the helicopters I was flying, but Harold became much more than just a work mate. His easy-going way while being meticulous and thorough in his work instilled great confidence in me with his mechanical and technical abilities, so much so that when I had moved on to a company in Grande Prairie, Alberta and they needed a maintenance engineer, I did not hesitate to put his name forward to fill the vacant position. Harold and family moved out to Alberta where we were much more than co-workers and became greater than friends. Marlene and my wife Christine had much in common, the least of which were our kids of similar ages, so Hardy and Evan got to spend time as youngsters with my two girls and son.
Even after I left the company out west and moved a few hours away to another company in Peace River, we were frequent guests at their place in Grande Prairie as my company had a head office in Grande Prairie.
After they moved back home to New Liskeard, and my family to Thunder Bay, we made regular trips to the Cameron home in New Liskeard over the years when traveling between southern and northern Ontario. Our kids always looked forward to visits with the Camerons and have fond recollections of time spent in New Liskeard whether it was summer or winter.
It is with a great sense of loss that my wife and I offer our deepest condolences to Marlene, Hardy and Evan in this time of profound sadness and mourning.
Sincere condolences to Marlene and the family. Harold was a gentleman with such a big heart. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Oh my , this is terrible news. i was made aware of Harold's passing almost by mistake. I am in shock. Harold and I were members of same airport association ...and we spoke on occasion about aviation industry in our local. I will miss our chats. God Bless and my condolences to his family.

We will always remember him as Happy Harold as I don’t think I ever saw him when he didn’t have a ready smile and a quick quip to throw your way. Far too early for him to have left us. To the Cameron Family,
It is with great sadness that I learned of Harold's recent passing. Harold was very passionate about aviation and put his heart and sole into managing C-YZR airport. Harold was a true gem in the industry and was respected and liked by all. I was fortunate enough to fly into his airport with a friend, get a personal tour and have lunch with Harold - a cherished and unforgettable memory. I will miss his wit, laughter, gentleness and glowing smiles.
My thoughts go out to all of you at this very sad and difficult time.
Sincerely,
Robert (Robby) Colwell,
