Obituary of Roger Grandmont

Grandmont, Roger - It is with great sadness that the family announces Roger’s passing, on Monday, March 1, 2021, with family at his side. Roger was born on February 22, 1933. He was predeceased by his sister Ghislaine Dent and his brother Roland Grandmont. Roger will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jeannine; his children Suzanne (John) Godmaire of New Liskeard, Joanne (late Maurice) Léveillé of Oshawa, Denis (Amanda) Grandmont of Burlington, Danielle (Norm) Remillard of New Liskeard; his cherished grandchildren Maxine Daviau (Johnny), Renée Godmaire, Valérie Léveillé (Marc-André), Nicole Léveillé, Marc Bédard, André Bedard, Lynn Bédard (Chris), Matthieu Remillard, Nathalie Remillard; 3 great grandchildren (Réanne, Cassie, Jesse) and 1 great great grandchild (Lucas). Roger will also be missed by his sisters Solange Mangnus of Vancouver and Jeannine Grandmont of New Liskeard as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. Donations in Roger’s memory may be made to the Temiskaming Hospital Foundation –Care Close to Home. All cheques are to be made payable to Temiskaming Hospital Foundation (421 Shepherdson Road, New Liskeard, ON P0J 1P0).
