Condolences
Dear Ellen and Family: May you be blessed with the knowledge that Don is his heavenly home now. It is certain that my Mom will be asking him for quarters for the phone at the laundromat. Whenever she went to town do laundry she would call me in Guelph from the pay phone at the laundromat. Those calls were precious to me. Our family connections go long and deep. Your Mom was my Mom's best friend and confidante. Your Dad made the toast to the bride as our wedding 49 years ago. However, one of the most important memories I have of you and Don is the family life you built. It was so inclusive. It formed a strong example for John and I as we grew our family to four through adoption of Samuel and Alexandra from Guatemala. May you be hugely blessed with courage as you live each day forward. Love to you. Kathleen (Proud) Verdone
I wish to express my deepest sympathies to the Males family. I remember Mr. Males fondly, always with that engaging smile. I remember when I was a child seeing him at Reunion and knowing his kids, most older than me. When I was little I always thought: I wonder how he has so many children! As the years went on I grew to know it was because he and his wife were very caring and loving people with very big hearts. I pray that that the Lord will comfort your family during this time. I remember your family dearly especially those of you that I got to know quite well: Ryan, Glen, Lorna and Brandt. May God grant you all peace during this difficult time.
So sorry for your loss Glen and family
We are very sorry to learn of Don's passing. He was a regular attender at Northern Ontario Reunion, along with Ellen and their family and it was always a pleasure to chat with this humble, faithful servant. May God rest his soul and comfort you with His Peace. Dwight & Heather Fryer & the Monetville Congregation.

Dear Ellen & Family;
Thinking of you and your family with the loss of Don. Your Don and my Don often worked together in the days of your business and ours, New Liskeard Dry Cleaners.
Thinking of you Ellen now, when we were in Public School together. When ever we had an orange our lunch, we would ask you to peel it for us, because you were so good at it, neat and tidy. You will miss Don very much, but please know that you are in my prayers to help you along the way.
