I was so sad to hear about Katherine. She was a big part of the Kerns Public School Community. She always made the kids smile with her costumes, treats and fun jokes. My condolences to the Runnalls family.

Steve and family,
Our deepest condolences on your loss. Katherine will be missed. The last time I saw her, we shared the biggest hug, and for that moment, the world seemed all good again.

Dear Steve and family,
Our deepest sympathies to you all. As a distant cousin of Kathy, we very seldom got to see one another. But for the few times that we did meet up, I was always impressed us with Kathy’s lovely personality and very good nature. She was a lovely joyful person.
Our family is so very sorry for your loss. We hope you will keep well and find peace and love in your memories of your dear lady.

To Steve and kids...our sincerest condolences and prayers go out for you folks at this time. Katherine has left a gaping hole in the middle of our faith community as she sought to serve in everything she did. May she be at long last free of her binds and alive to perpetual peace. On behalf of the Kerns Public School Staff and Students both past and present. We send our deepest sympathy to all Katherine's Family. She was a wonderful part of Kerns Public School and left her mark in so many ways. She was our Milk program person, our Library Lady, our face painting and costume go to, our Piggly Wiggly Queen, and our Back to School Bunny. She would help in every way she could, from reading with students, to planning end of year party's, Fall Fairs, Jump rope for heart, helping with concerts, spaghetti dinners, plays, and she would do all of this with a friendly smile and warm heart. She will be missed by many but she will never be forgotten.
To Steve and the Runnalls and Papineau families and all Katherine's friends I am very sorry to hear this sad news and extend condolences at this time of loss. Peace be with you and on the memories you share.

Steve and family, Jim, Kevin, Kathy and families, please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Katherine. I remember her well from our coffee breaks with lots of laughs at Temiskaming Hospital.
Sending our heartfelt condolences to all of you on your loss. Katherine was such a dedicated mom and so involved in earlier years with the kids at Kerns PS. She will be missed by many. May she rest peacefully. Hugs...Darren, Carol & family
I worked with Katherine in X-ray. She was always great to work with and friendly. She was always very supportive. I remember how happy she was when we went to visit her when Michael-Anne was born. A natural mother. I haven’t seen her very often since we both left the hospital. I ran into her when she and Steve were new car shopping in North Bay. She was still cheerful, happy Katherine. One time my husband called her Kathy. She let him know in no uncertain terms it was Katherine. Of course with a smile! I am sending out hugs and prayers to the family as well as Katherine. My deepest condolences to you.
Such an amazing woman gone too soon. She put in countless hours volunteering her time to our school all the way from library work to throwing parties at her house which were like a mini carnival and she never expected anything in return except to see some smiling children. She gave me my very first job doing yard work for her than hired me again after high school to milk cows. We became so close when I got sober and lost my dad, she would always call to check on me, stop by to bring me readings or support and most importantly she always gave me the tightest hugs when I needed them. May she Rest In Peace.
