Obituary of Fred Palumbo

Federico (Fred) Palumbo, 69 years of age, of New Liskeard, Ontario, passed away suddenly on October 23rd, 2020. A private family funeral service will be held at Our Mother Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Wayne Mills officiating. Spring internment to take place at a future date. Fred was born in Carrufo, Italy to Orindo and Corinda Palumbo, and immigrated to Canada in 1957. He graduated from Northern College in Electronics Engineering and worked for Northern Telephone for 30 years in their Engineering department. His craftsmanship and attention to detail on all of his artistic pursuits was worthy of admiration and imitation. He was a very humble and peaceful man, but always strived for excellence. Fred is survived by his loving Wife of 30 years, Darlene (nee MacMillan) Palumbo, his precious twin Daughters Coriane (Scott) Cochrane and Loriane (Heinz) Huesmann, his beloved Brother Bernie Palumbo,his mother in-law Dorothy MacMillan,and his Brothers and Sisters in-law, Nieces and Nephews. Memorial donations may be made in Fred’s name to The Heart And Stroke Foundation, Our Mother Of Perpetual Help, or to the charity of your preference.
