Obituary of Jean Claude Lemire

In loving memory of Jean Claude Lemire who passed away at the Temiskaming Hospital Sunday, February 2, 2020 at the age of 76. He is survived by his loving wife Rita (nee Plante); his children Sylvette (Peter Borgford), Rodrigue (Claudie Herbet), Christian (Lisanne Goudreault); his grandchildren Jacob (Dominique), Veronique (Luke), Philippe (Marie-Claude), Christopher (Katrina), Chad, Jesse (Karlee) , Zachary and one great grandchild Liam. He also leaves behind his brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law and nieces and nephews. J.C. loved music, especially when it came time to play the guitar with his grandkids. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage surrounded by those he loved. He worked construction his whole life at Grant’s and Pedersen’s. Everyone who knew him well knew that his favorite thing was his Tim Horton’s coffee and apple fritter. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 11 a.m. from Paroisse Sacré Coeur. Fr. Ghislain officiating. In lieu of flowers donations to Temiskaming Hospital - Care Close to Home would be appreciated.
