Condolences
Dear Lynn and family,
So sorry to hear about your Mom. Unfortunately I am out of town this coming weekend but I will be thinking of you. It is a difficult time but the wonderful memories will help ease the pain. Take care!
Mr. Buckham, Paul, Lynn, Ian and families...Brenda and I were stunned by the news of Mrs. B’s passing. She will be missed sorely missed by family, friends and her community at large. I had the good fortune of growing up a few doors down the street. From an early age, Mrs. B performed as a surrogate mother and mild disciplinarian, when (often) required. As we grew older Paul and his friends regularly enjoyed the Buckham’s hospitality at their cottage at Twin Lakes and Mrs. B’s endless patience with questionable behaviour. Humour, generosity, a strong community spirit and faith, Mrs. B had it all. I feel privileged to have called her a friend.
Our thoughts are with the Family on this Passsing of your Mother, Wife and Grandmother.
We join you in your sense of loss.
Dear John, Paul, Ian and Lynn and your extended families
Very sorry to hear of Joyce's passing; many thanks for letting me know, Lynn. Joyce and Doreen had a special friendship that lasted a lifetime. Perhaps they can carry on with that friendship once again!
My sincerest condolences to you all at this difficult time.
Love
Deb Skelton

Mr. Buckham, Paul, Ian, Lynn and your extended families - so sorry to hear about the recent loss of your wonderful spouse, mother and grandmother.
"Mrs. B." was like a second mother to those of us fortunate to be close friends of Paul, Ian and Lynn.
Time spent at their homes on John St. and Mary St. and especially during those unbeatable summers at Twin Lakes
provided me with many, many treasured memories of her hospitality, sense of humour and strong sense of family and community.
Hers was a life well lived and one that had a positive impact on others. She will be missed.
Dear John and family,
Please accept my condolences on the loss of Mrs. Buckham.
I will always remember her as a gentle, kind, and classy lady who always had the sweetest smile and a great little story for me every time I saw her.
She will surely be missed by many.
Hugs to all
Lois Perry
Mr. Buckham, Lynn and family,
Such a huge loss for your family and all who enjoyed Mrs. Buckham’s friendship and sense of humour. She was always so lively! Your hearts will hurt - it’s hard to lose your matriarch. I’m thinking of you. Trish Hosking
Your mom was a lovely lady who seemed to remember everything about the lives of people around her. She would talk to me about things that I had done years before and give updates about Lynn and Corinne. She will be missed.
Thank you Lynn for posting these pictures of your Mum's life. Your Mum was such a character, we had many laughs over the years, just sitting out on her back deck.
We've been neighbours for 36 years, she was and always will be one of my dearest friends, and will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace my dear friend. We love you.
Virginia and Ray.
So sorry to hear of Joyce’s passing (that feels weird - she is Mrs. Buckham!)
My loving condolences to the family - especially to Mr. Buckham and to Paul, Ian and Lynn - our extended Mary Street family!
I have so many great memories of Mary Street and Twin Lakes - Mrs. B always the embodiment of propriety and for sure an extra mom - I knew the routines of the Buckham house as well as my own! And it did indeed feel like a second home. In fact even on John Street I have really early memories of coming with Mrs. Chamberlain because Mom was working at the store!
